Details | An ampere-second (As) is a unit of electric charge in the International System of Units (SI). It is a derived unit representing the electric charge that passes through a conductor or a circuit when a constant electric current of one ampere (A) flows for one second (s). In other words, an ampere-second is the product of the electric current (measured in amperes) and the time during which it flows (measured in seconds). The base SI unit for electric charge is the coulomb (C).
