Details | A deciphot (dph) is a non-SI unit of illuminance, which is used to measure the amount of light received by an object in a given area. It is not widely used today, as it has been largely replaced by the SI unit lux (lx) for measuring illuminance. One deciphot is equal to the illuminance of one lumen per square centimeter, which is equal to ten lux.
